More About the Author

Born in Seattle, raised as a military brat. At 12 yrs old read my first astrology book and haven't stopped studying astrology since. Was "Staff Astrologer" on KCBQ radio with Charlie and Harrigan delivering the daily astrological forecast. Wrote "The Art of Nameology", then SourceBooks bought the rights and repackaged it for expectant parents as "The Art of Baby Nameology"...

Fabulous! This is a great book. When I received this book I couldn't put it down. It is amazing the information you can find by putting the letters in your first name together. The best part is when I started looking up the names of people I knew. It was easy to see what Norma says about people I knew well like my family and friends (and they were SO true!) but looking up coworkers and my boss was a real eye opener. I just couldn't figure out one of my bosses and his attitude. I just couldn't make him happy and I couldn't figure him out. Then I looked up his name and it made so much sense. I was going about it all wrong. Now I know how to react to him. This book has given me the tools to understand his personality and my work relationship with him is so much better. I also started reading about a few of my friends young children and it is amazing how much these kids already have the traits that Norma speaks of. From now on whenever I have a baby shower to go to this is the gift I will give. It will give the parents-to-be a good idea of what personality traits their child will have (and maybe they will change their minds to find a name that fits their family better.) I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone that wants to understand themselves and to help them have a better understanding of others through their name traits. I really wish I had this book a long time ago. It would have made a world of difference in so many of my personal and work-related relationships. Thank goodness for Norma and her wonderful book.

I have read a lot of numerology books, and this is by far one of the most easy-to-read, fun and creative books on the subject. I have been searching for a numerology book that focuses on letters and was so happy to have found this. It is really well written and insightful. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Well done!

I am most delighted to have the opportunity to read this book. It not only enhanses my coffee table it is such a wonderful guide to help me to a better understanding of my friends and loved ones. My relationships are so much more enjoyable now. I had no idea that a name could mean so much and so far the traits for people I know are exactly right on. It`s amazing. This book is unique for it`s time, it will be in use forever. Many thanks Norma. Pat

Watts hit the nail on the head with this one! She approaches the subject of names with a fresh perspective and lots of humor. She uses famous and familiar names to illustrate the meanings behind them. I found my name and my husband's name and was amazed at the accuracy of the descriptives. I bought one for each of my grown children so they can carefully consider the names of my future grandchildren.
