This review is from: The Atkins Diet and Philosophy: Chewing the Fat with Kant and Nietzsche (Popular Culture and Philosophy) (Paperback)
This was a pretty good read (a few essays were a little boring, but the majority are well-done). If you're a fan of the "Popular Culture and Philosophy" series, and you're interested in dieting, nutrition, food, etc. you should like this. Others I have read are:Seinfeld and Philosophy: A Book about Everything and Nothing The Sopranos and Philosophy: I Kill Therefore I Am (Popular Culture and Philosophy) Led Zeppelin and Philosophy: All Will Be Revealed (Popular Culture and Philosophy) Quentin Tarantino and Philosophy: How to Philosophize with a Pair of Pliers and a Blowtorch The Rolling Stones and Philosophy: It's Just a Thought Away (Popular Culture and Philosophy)

It's more philosophical observation than diet plan,

This review is from: The Atkins Diet and Philosophy: Chewing the Fat with Kant and Nietzsche (Popular Culture and Philosophy) (Paperback)
Sixteen essays by contributors who add a dose of philosophical reflection into the Atkins diet controversy will appeal to both pro and con diet readers. They come from practitioners of the diet, those not on it, and those who want little to do with it. It's more philosophical observation than diet plan - but any interested in Atkins and philosophy alike will find here an intriguing ability to link philosophical thinking to modern culture.Diane C.
