1.0 out of 5 stars Only a bunch of mini-games. Not at all like the show. September 13, 2010
By Buyer
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I completely agree with the first poster. I was anticipating this game as I love sim games as well. But I was extremely disappointed to the 3rd degree. This game is absolutely nothing like the show. It is composed only of mini-games (called "group-dates"), that are boring themselves.
What makes the mini-games so bad is that, they are all the same, but your objective is different, so to speak. For example, in one mini-game you are trying to collect casino chips, but in the next mini-game you are trying to collect seashells. In another game you may trace a bird, but in the next "season" you will trace a flower. Things like that. The same game, played the same way, with a different objective. Also, you already know who's going to win....YOU. There is no secret, no suspense, you already know who will win. And each "season" starts off exactly the same, with the same 4 girls. Just a horrible game. It's not even worth what it's priced now. It would have been nice to have a little more involvement with the game, such as the ability to change clothes, hair, or even makeup. Maybe actually have a racing mini game where you are driving and actually try to run the other contestants off the road, something like that could have made the game a little more worthwhile. No one wants to spend money on a game that is just boring mini-games. Look at it this way, search the internet for any gameplay, or other reviews. You will likely find none other than the trailer as it appeared most gamers have not bothered to buy the game. I cannot recommend this game, even for a die-hard Bachelor fan. If you get a chance, rent it first.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not what you think September 12, 2010
By MorganA
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this game as a huge fan of the bachelor and sim video games. This game is not anything like what I expected it to be. It is composed entirely of mini games such as tracing pictures and putting together puzzles. There is not an rpg game. This game is probably more well suited for a 8 year old than anyone else. Here's what game play consists of:

1) Play a mini game, get a rose
2) Play another mini game, get a rose
3) Play another mini game, get a rose
4) Play another mini game, watch a small animated clip of the bachelor, get a ring. - you win congrats.

Oh, and btw, there is no losing, if you lose a mini game you just try again until you win so that you can get the rose.

Aside from the insanely boring game play there are a few personality quizes, similar to what you used to find on facebook or myspace, also very boring.

Do NOT buy this game if you are expecting an rpg.

Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
This game is a waste of time and money. It is the worst game I have ever purchased. And to call it a game is an affront to every game out there that might even slightly pique someone's interest. I have played board games with my 3-year-old niece that have been more stimulating or varied. The other two review here sum up the game play perfectly and it is no exaggeration: play 3 mini games, win a rose, repeat. Then, repeat the same exact process over and over and over again. In fact, reading these reviews offers more excitement than the game could EVER hope to provide. Don't waste your time or money.

This is the worst game ever. Not what you think. No dating or handing out roses or anything. It's a bunch of mini games that are frankly very stupid.
