I always find the "stuff" at Amazon--- in this case, the beautifully produced "The Ballet Russes and the Art of Design"--- I collect Diaghilev books--- and was thrilled to see the actual costumes...a lovely addition to the collection!

The book has many photographs of art in black and white, also in color. The descriptions and stories are well
written. The eroticism in the early 1900's is displayed in many of the costumes.

Anyone who is involved with or just loves theatre, ballet, opera design needs this book. Lots of great history and plenty of color photos of set renderings and costume designs from this great ballet company. I sure wish I could go back in time and see some of those productions!
