The Bastard Hand is a beautifully gritty blend of pulp and noir in a tidy southern gothic package.
It kept my interest through the entire book because it has the right amount of detail to keep it moving along at a good pace.
I had two other books I was reading at the same time but damn if I couldn't put this one down until it was finished!
