How many times do we have to watch 30 seconds of credits on both sides of a two minute episode? At the least they need to make a continuous version for people who buy all. This is not the way to package paid content.

Welcome to the ADD format. The "episodes" are about three minutes long; two per download. Just when the story is getting interesting the episode is over. Not to mention if you want to get really sick of a theme song listen to it forty-eight times more or less in a row. An interesting story butchered by the desire to squeeze every last penny out of it in this format.

99-cents for a few minutes of images--with the same theme song and credits over and over and over? What a waste of my money.

I am not a huge fan of motion comics to begin with, but I have seen several that I have enjoyed from a plot and character development stand point.

This one doesn't really develop anything. The episodes seem to be about 3 minutes long. While the idea of what would happen if Superman had landed in the USSR instead of the USA is intriguing, this really doesn't do any character or the story line justice, IMHO. Save your money.

This grande Superman tale penned by the mind of Marc Millar is arguably one of his best works. And to see Dave Johnson & Kilian Plunkett's art brought life with the subtle fluidity of motion comics is just great. Dc's Elseworlds imprint was always an innovative breeding ground for fresh new stories & interpretations on classic characters. In "Red Son", it isn't just an alternate Superman tale but more importantly an alternate world where we see familiar characters & history itself re imagined. And it's all done so wonderfully! I don't give this the full 5 star rating because the episodes aren't broken down into just one long film. So instead you have to fast forward or skip every time the 5 minute episode ends to get to the next one. It's pretty annoying unless you don't mind hearing the theme music & watching ending credits each time one episode ends. That & there aren't any special features whatsoever, which is quite strange because this was a cool endeavor & seeing the making of it would've been a blast. If you liked other motion comic releases like Watchmen, Iron Man -extremis, or Astonishing X men -gifted, you'll probably like this one too.

I am a comic fan since I was a kid, but I prefer a good comic book than this. I mean, is not bad, but the entire set remains me an old 60's animation alike. if you are going to create an animation do it, but in full. if not, just print a comic book, we will enjoy it anyways.

Discovered this what if comic about a year ago, and then learned it was a motion comic as well. Had to have it! I only gave it 4/5 instead of the full 5 because I dont think it should have been done in episodic format, so that you have to go through opening and ending credits every few minutes. Otherwise, a great buy and well worth the price.

Its a motion comic, but not as good as others that came out. Some episodes are missing the introduction. Each episode contains two episodes and each one of those has the crappy introduction in it.
