Best episode is The Battle of 73 Easting. Watch much ass-kicking action. Saddam's elite Republican Guards get an epic beat-down for the ages! The interviews of the officers who led the battle are humble but you realize they open up a big can of whoop-ass on the Iraqis.

The Battle of the Bulge episodes are okay. Wait for the series to go to Amazon Prime for more butt-kicking action!

Love watching the simulated tank battles along with commentary and actual footage. Really enjoyed the two of the Battle of the Bulge. Grandsons love watching them too. The five year old knows way too much about German tanks. Like that they take an interest in history.

I am a veteran myself and Iown a squadron of [nine] R/C tanks, most of them M1A2 Abrams. These CGI videos, although sanitized, are an excellent primer in tank tactics throughout the 20th century. I have very much enjoyed watching the first season several times, and will buy the rest. If you enjoy tanks, cavalry, or even knights in combat, you will enjoy this collection.

I love tanks, I love computer animation and I love history. I am just waiting until these TV documentaries start modernizing and stop repeating the exact same info before and after commercials which, on video and computers means you see it twice a few seconds.

This was a great film in which the main battle discussed just happens to be on that I was personally in! It was great to be able to see the actual intel surrounding this battle because as a Specialist, I never got to see what was going on in the "big picture". I give this 5 stars, and thoroughly enjoyed watching this with family and friends when I came across it on the web. Check it out. I am verifying it's validity, and validate what is being portrayed in this entire battle sequence.

So far I have totally enjoyed the depiction of each battle. I had studied some of the battles thru the years but understanding the events as they unfolded is difficult in print, but with the help of modern graphics it becomes much clearer. I am looking forward to the next episode, "The Battle of the Bulge", because I have studied it more because an uncle was involved towards the end of January 1945. He always said the German optics were better and it was hard to escape once they sighted in your tank. Let's see how that battle is depicted. All together GOOD job. Tony H.

What a great rendition of the battle. However , at the end of the movie, the Arab expert commentator predicts that if the Golan Heights is not given back to Syria "there will not be peace in the Middle East." How untrue that prediction came about. With a civil war in Syria today, and the Golan protecting Israel from the Syrian civil war and the destruction the Syrian leadership is wrecking on its own people puts this documentary in another perspective. Unfortunately, the major loss was the inability of the Arab experts to learn the real lesson of the war. That the one who started it - the aggressors - the Assads, have moved on the aggression again but against their own people. PS , this is being played out on the other aggressor of the October War, with the Egyptians too, turning on themselves. It is the NOT the case for Israel to return lands to the Arabs, but for the Arabs to accept democracy, and Israel and get a peace treaty going. The war is not about land but about acceptance of Israel, who because it is democratic - fights to defends herself rather than start wars to gain lands. Israel gave all the land back to Egypt, and there is still turmoil there. Author- Leaving home Going Home Returning Home - A Hebrew American's Sojourn in the Land of Israel.

Entertaining walk-through of highlights, unexpected developments, and decisive (and very one-sided) engagements. Tempered with grim reality near the end. Excellent use of cross-sections and schematics mixed with engaging interviews ensures a sustained energy level. I'd watch it again, but there's a whole season waiting!
