"May I just say, I need to go buy some more sweaters and scarves so that I can add beaded edgings and trims to them! Using a small crochet hook or a beading needle, you'll learn how to use a simple thread and lovely beads to make exceptionally lovely embellishments for both your wearables and nonwearables." - Beading-Arts.com

"It is absolutely gorgeous! The whole book is infused with a Japanese aesthetic I find tremendously appealing: work of great delicacy, modern color palette, beautifully organized and presented. A very classy and unusual book!" - CrochetInsider.com
Midori Nishida is a professional craft artist. Deeply moved and inspired by the "Turkish Embroideries and Oya Exhibition," she endeavored to create her own line of crafts and introduced Boncuk oya to Japan, adapting it into a more accessible form for crafters. She has continued to study and perfect the art of "beaded edgings" with CRK design, and has built a massive base of loyal fans both in and outside of Japan.
CRK Design is a design firm made up of six graphic designers. Their first craft magazine design project opened the door to their career in craft making and design. Today, they do everything from designing and production to book designing.
