In this well-researched work, Tabor shows the real agenda of the United Nations and how close it is to subverting national sovereignty in various ways, including the imposition of taxes through internet use. This is one of its attempts to become financially independent, since thus it may circumvent the financial leverage by national governments that can still contain its agenda.
The idea of its founders was for it to become a world government, as the author points out. In his measured and factual analysis, Tabor proves that the stark choice for US citizens is this: choose between your Constitution and the sinister and malignant tumor growing on Turtle Bay. There is simply no way to reform this corrupt organization.
Not only does the UN want more of your tax money, it intends to raise an army and become a global government. Of course this government would be dominated by the dictatorial states that currently form the majority of its members. There are strong ties between the UN and a host of parasitical NGOs, especially of the EcoNut variety. The church of environmentalism is one of the heads of the UN hydra.
Another grave danger is the International Criminal Court, its alarming powers and the authority it is claiming over member states, especially Western democracies. Everything the UN touches turns to ecxrement, like its complicity in forced abortions in Africa and in the genocide in Darfur. The part it played in the Rwandan genocide is well known by now.
It intends to extend its toxic tentacles into the American educational system, to subvert private property rights, control natural resources worldwide and bring about open borders. This whilst the UN bureaucrats who profited from the oil-for-food scandal go unpunished and the institution's gross failures and crimes are ignored by the mass media.
The prospect of such an unprincipled, deviant bunch of bureaucrats attaining its goal of global government is truly nightmarish. It is of the utmost importance that the American public and politicians be informed; this book serves to do just that. But do the politicians have the will and the moral fibre to withstand this threat to US sovereinty? Time will tell.
Other valuable books that expose various facets of the UN's agenda, its corruption and its failures include
Diplomatic Divorce by Thomas Kilgannon,
Tower of Babble: How the United Nations Has Fueled Global Chaos by Dore Gold,
Inside the Asylumby Jed Babbin,
The U.N. Exposed by Eric Shawn and
Global Deception by Joseph Klein. Not all of these authors advocate complete US withrawal from the UN but their work provides an illuminating insight into this evil and dangerous organization.
