ANOTHER FAB READ FROM R R February 17, 2011
Format:Hardcover
This book is a great overview of the Beatles' phenomenon.
Written with a 21st century perspective it also has the "corrective lens" of someone truly knowledgeable of the subject. A few accepted myths that have become part of the general lore are gently challenged here.
A great place for neophytes to discover the FABS and for older fans to re-explore why they love them.

The version for the Kindle does not have the video documentaries or interactive menus. Apparently those items are available only for a notepad or as an app for a mobile device. I wish that would have been made more clear in the item description.

This is my third Robert Rodriguez book that I have and all of them are insightful and always tell me things I never knew about the BEST BAND EVER! Add to the great writing he also includes some great pictures of the FAB as well! I highly recommend to all BEATLE fans and even those who are not because their contributions to MUSIC and everything else is a slice of history that is important and won't be forgotten! Thanks again ROBERT and I can't wait for your next installment to be written and published!

Mostly rehash and not much new
A rather disappointing book. At this point in the Beatles history, a new book should cover a lot of new ground, and this one doesn't. Read more

At last...ONE fabulous Beatles book!

I think people who truly can live a life in music are telling the world, You can have my love, you can have my smiles. Forget the bad parts, you don't need them. Just take the music, the goodness, because it's the very best, and it's the part I give most willingly. George "e;
