No reason not to get this version., January 8, 2007
This review is from: The Beatles - Help (DVD)
Yeah, I know. There are a lot of marginal-quality, semi-official DVDs of Beatles films out there <cough>MagicalMysteryTour<cough>...but this one doesn't fall into that category. Picture-wise, it's crisp, with minimal noise (just a VERY RARE bit of film dust on occasion). The sound is excellent, too. Not muddy, perfectly synced, etc. It's a full-frame presentation, but I think the US release from the late '90s was, too. The only odd thing is that NOWHERE on the disc or case is the name of the movie printed in English. Oh, and the photo used for the cover of this 1965 film is, inexplicably, from 1967. But until MPI gets their act together and re-issues "Help!" in the US, this Korean version is a fantastic substitute for about a tenth of the price that the rip-off sellers are asking for.

A Remarkable Phenomenal Beatles Movie!!!, August 19, 2005
This review is from: The Beatles - Help (DVD)
It is a true delight to watch this extraordinary DVD with the FABULOUS FOUR!!! This is a movie for BEATLES's fans and for the curious that will become undoubtedly fans. All the songs are BIG HITS and are in a perfectly synergetic relation to the story and the plot. What a privilege to experience the pure genius of JOHN LENNON, the beauty of PAUL MCCARTNEY, the always uniqueness of RINGO STARR and to witness the first reactions of GEORGE HARRISON to the influence of Indian music knowing that it would mark him for the rest of his life and guide him in his spirituality and music. The FANTASTIC FOUR are stronger than ever and AT THEIR BEST and you can't help but to be dazzled by their presence and absolute talent!!! The quality of this Korean DVD is superb in both terms of good sound and clear image. It is a striking movie that touched me and a DVD I will be watching and recommending over and over again!!!

The Beatles at their funniest, September 2, 2005
This review is from: The Beatles - Help (DVD)
This film is such a riot! The plot is interesting, the jokes are well-placed and the action is exciting. To finally have this film remastered and out on DVD is a blessing to all Beatles fans. The music is outstanding and fits in well within the frame of the movie which keeps it from feeling like a music video. If you have never seen this film, get ready for a fast paced adventure that takes you all over the world. In tandem with "A Hard Day's Night," this movie sets the Beatles apart form any other rock group in history. This is a must see.
