This is a Certified Limited Edition 16x20" Fine Art, Archival Chromogenic Photograph of The Beatles (Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and John Lennon) on stage, performing during the second to last concert on their first full tour of America, at Municipal Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, September 17, 1964. The concert was not on the original schedule but was added after Charles O. Finley, owner of the Kansas City Athletics baseball team, offered them a record payday of $150,000. Photograph by Bob Bonis. Bob Bonis was the U.S. Tour Manager for The Beatles for all three of their tours of America: 1964, 1965 and 1966. He was also the U.S Tour Manager for The Rolling Stones beginning with their first-ever tour of America in June 1964 and continuing through 1966. An avid photographer, Bob brought his Leica M3 camera along and took photographs that are unique in their unguarded and intimate nature. Due to his unequaled access to these bands, he was able to capture images no other photographer was able to take. This photograph appears in the book "The Lost Beatles Photographs: The Bob Bonis Archive 1964-1966" by Larry Marion, published by It Books division of Harper Collins. Photographs from the Bob Bonis Archive are © Not Fade Away Gallery, All Worldwide Rights Reserved.
