Product Description

The Beatles are arguable one of the most successful and influential bands of all time. After four decades their music continues to inspire artists throughout the world and their popularity remains undiminished. Celebrate the Beatles legacy with the Famous Covers Die-cast Vehicle Collection featuring the bands iconic album sleeve artwork only from Corgi International Ltd. Revolver was The Beatles 7th album and it was quite a departure from what had come before with a harder rock sound that showcased stylistically new developments. German born artist and close friend of The Beatles from their early days together in Hamburg, Klaus Voorman, created the cover illustration. Released in the UK 7th August 1966, it remained the No. 1 album for 7 weeks.

Although "Magical Mystery Tour" was released in 1967, this bus with the Beatles' 1966 "Revolver" album cover festooning its sides will delight Beatle fans of all ages.

Busses have an important role in Beatle history. George Harrison's father, Harold Sr. drove a bus for 30 years and it was on a bus where Paul McCartney and George Harrison met en route to school. One endearing story is about how the senior Harrisons lent Paul bus fare when he came up short at the bus stop one day.

Yes, this is a fab addition to your Beatles' collection. Now just roll on up for the Mystery Tour and enjoy this one!
