Initially, I chose this book because I wanted to improve my self esteem and confidence. But, by the end of the book, my life had improved in so many other ways. I felt happier and more excited about life, and more motivated to achieve my dreams.

In a society where too much emphasis is put on the way you look outside of the body, Michelle Phillips begins your transformation with the way you feel inside.

This book furnished me with a set of rules for living; it is an instruction manual for living my best life. It gives no-nonsense advice, with promises of achieving your goals by your actions, efforts, and exercises; not by the silly thinking that if you just wish it or say it aloud, it will come to fruition.

Society may initially judge from the outside, but past that first impression, people will judge you for your thoughts and intentions as well. With this book, I learned how to bring forth my intentions by aligning my appearances with my desires; putting my best "face" forward. And, you can too!

This is one of those books, that you'll want to eat up as fast as you can. It's full of easily digestible information and inspiration as to how to get the package that is you, in alignment with itself. After doing the work in the book, I've got a clearer sense of exactly who I am, what my boundaries are and hence have taken myself further both professionally and personally. I NEEDED this book, and if you are feeling like sometimes you are treading water and need a coach to point you in the right direction that is specifically for you and you alone, this is the book you want to buy.

I have had the good fortune to meet and work with Michelle Phillips a few times over the past five years. During that time I have come to know her as an individual with tremendous insights and extreme generosity of spirit, so when I got the pre-order notice for her first book, "The Beauty Blueprint: 8 Steps to Building the Life and Look of Your Dreams" last February (2011), I immediately ordered it. My reward? I was one of the first to read it when it was pre-released in October. Wanting to totally devote my attention to the book, I took it with me on a plane trip a few days after it arrived.

I was immediately struck by the feeling that the real-life Michelle was literally speaking to me from its pages. Her style is totally authentic and honest to the core. It was very refreshing to read more than a few paragraphs of personal experiences and tips that Michelle had previously shared with me in person or on the phone. Michelle HAS lived the life and walked the walk; and is now talking the talk of being beautiful from the inside out. It is not all about being a size "0" with a perfect figure and flawless skin. There is so much more to every woman and, with Michelle's help, we can all take our lives to our highest dreams!

I intend to read this book again - this time with my feet firmly planted on terra firma - so I can better carry out the personal development exercise in the book.
