5.0 out of 5 stars Great message for kids! November 4, 2012
Format:Paperback
A bee is bullying the animals around him when they get in his way. But when a little boy catches the bee in a jar, the angry little bee has time to think about what he has done.

Why I liked this book - Bullying is a very important subject. My school has a whole anti-bullying program. I think this is a good book to talk about bullying to younger kids. I have to admit I loved the book right away because the illustrations are awesome. When I read the words I thought the story and the rhyme it is told in really helped talk about a tough subject (bullying). I like how the bee had to think about how he was treating the other animals and realized he was wrong. This would be a good book for pre-schoolers too.
NOTE - I got a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

My daughter makes me read this to her a couple times a week. She loves it. The author did an amazing job of telling a story and teaching the kids something at the same time. I really enjoy all of Angela Muse's children books. If you enjoy the Bee Bully you must check out her other books!

More About the Author

Angela was born in California to a military family. This meant that she got used to being the "new kid" in school every couple of years. It was hard trying to make new friends, but Angela discovered she had a knack for writing. In high school Angela began writing poetry and song lyrics. Expressing herself through writing seemed very natural. After becoming a Mom in 2003, Angela continued her storytelling to her two children. In 2009 she wrote and published her first children's book aimed at toddlers. Since then she has released several more children's picture books and is set to release her first young adult romance series in 2012.
