Inspired by siblings, Barbara and Ethan Gruska's love for Fleetwood Mac, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, and Stevie Wonder, The Belle Brigade's artfully arranged, freewheeling songs brim with breezy, California melodies and bracing pop harmonies, fueled by the driving rhythms Barbara plays on drums.

Terrific album by a relatively new group. The lead female singer is superlative and her supporting bandmates play very well. I give this one a high recommendation for purchase.Published 18 months ago by Paul D. Banford

Just listen to the song "Losers" and see if you can get to the end and not immediately restart it. That and a handful of other songs stick in your head. Read morePublished on August 23, 2012 by AF
