Book Description

Get the Butt of Your Dreams

Do you wish your butt was smaller? Larger? Tighter? Or higher up? If you are like most women, you do crave your butt to earn one of these titles. You want your butt to look fabulous in that tight pair of jeans, and you definitely want to feel great in a bikini.

However, if you are like most women, you have discovered that having that great butt is not that easy. Yu have probably spent countless hours in the gym and walking uphill, but that rear just will not cooperate.

What Makes This Book Different?

This book focuses on where you were going wrong. If you want a great butt, you have to give the muscles located in that region their own workout regimen. Within The 15 Best Butt Exercises, that workout is available for every woman no matter her age, shape, or weight.

To produce results, a butt exercise regimen must focus on all areas of the butt. This means putting focus on each of the four muscles located in the butt area.
  • Gluteus Maximus: This is the largest muscle in the buttocks, and one of the strongest in the body.
  • Gluteus Medius: Broad, thick muscles that radiate on the outer service of the pelvis.
  • Gluteus Minimus: The smallest of the gluteal muscles, and it is located below the gluteus maximus.
  • Tensor Fasciae Latae: Muscle located in the thigh.

Why Are the Buttocks So Special?

Each of the gluteal muscles requires different exercises to get them in top-notch shape. While most exercises will affect the gluteus maximus in some matter, they cannot all help the other three muscles. This is why it is important to have a thorough workout that incorporates exercises that affect all muscles located in the butt.

In order to cover all sides of the gluteus maximus and take care of the other three muscles, a good rotation must be included to strengthen the outer and inside muscles. They will also help to lift and firm. Here are the types of muscles included within this book:
  • Squats: One of the best exercises for developing the gluteal muscles.
  • Jumps: Jumping exercises help to strengthen and firm the upper thigh and lower gluts.
  • Lunges: Helps to focus on gluteal muscles as well as the lower portion of the body.
  • Kicks: Intense variations of exercises that will help to tone and shape your butt.
  • Extensions: Help to build up pelvis muscles, thighs, and hips.
  • Bridges: Works out your body from your upper thighs, through you buttocks, and finally strengthens your core.

Make Your Own Exercise!

These can all be done in your home, and there is no need to hire an expensive trainer to teach them to you. Tailor your exercise to your own butt and to the booty you wish to have!

5.0 out of 5 stars For a Butt that Rocks December 27, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The butt is just as an important part of the body as any, or even more than that, a lot of people would suggest. A lot of women think and try hard to improve that particular part of their anatomy, to make it look firmer, better. This book comes as a guide of sorts that will help them fulfill their wishes.

Why buy this book? This question is all the money really. Well, the answer is quite simple: because this book is one of its kind in a way, as it tries to help women not improve their physique in general, but a particular part of their bodies.

As we read, The Best Butt Exercises for Women is an exercise manual devoted strictly to your glutes. The author then goes on to point out that, whether it's too big, too small, too wobbly, or too saggy, the butt is an area of the body that women often complain about! Well, complain no more, since the task of this book is to solve all the problems concerning the matter at hand.

Rachel Howe proposes 15 exercises that can work wonders for you, and she explains in detail how to do them. They are all simple and the best thing is that apart from a barbell you won't need any other instruments for your workout.

Actually some of the exercises she includes in this handy illustrated tome do not only help improve the way your butt looks, but can also help you get into a, allow me the term, martial arts mode, since they include a front kick lunge exercise, as well as one that is a step up kick back combo.

The author believes that the end justifies the means, so she tries to do her best to explain to the reader the whats and the whys of each of the exercises in this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get Yourself a Happy Butt January 23, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is a God-send. That sounds like a bit of an exaggeration I know, but it's true. I'm one of those women who doesn't look too bad as long as I have clothes on but take the clothes off and what you have underneath is one saggy body. Because I'm not hugely overweight, I had just resigned myself to thinking that this was just my body shape and there was nothing I could do about it. Most women wear baggy clothes because they want to hide the flab. I wanted to hide the sag. My most essential wardrobe item was my granny panties that held everything in place. When I got Rachel's book and started to try the exercises I never believed that could make any difference to my body but she's right. Exercise is the key to having the body you want. On the bad side, I felt this book was a bit short. I would have liked a bit more information about what each of the exercises do so I could understand why they work. But I kept doing them anyway. And today, I have to tell you, I have one great body and one happy butt!

4.0 out of 5 stars Squat, Lunge and Kick Your Butt into Shape December 10, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Who knew that a bunch of simple exercises could knock my monstrous butt into shape? I'd given up all hope on my posterior. All it was good for was sitting on. Each year I watched it grow and sag in despair. I moaned about it constantly. One day my boyfriend said I love you but shut up, you're driving me crazy, either do something about it or forget about it, you're driving me mad. I couldn't believe how angry he was. I was upset at first but then I realized he was right. It was like my butt was in control of our relationship and it was time for me to take that control back. I picked up Rachel's book and got to work. Not only have these simple exercises reshaped my behind, they've also reshaped my attitude. I'm so grateful to Rachel. So is my boyfriend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Watch Out Kim Kardashian, Here Comes my Ass!! February 26, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
OK, so I'll never be Kim Kardashian but at least I can now fit into a pair of jeans without looking like I have two small bears brawling in my back pockets. I mean it's only natural isn't it, after three kids, nobody's butt is going to perfect. But marginally acceptable would be nice. One of my kids used to cuddle up to my hips and say, I love your squashy bits mom. While he thought this was the ultimate compliment it made me depressed. It was time for action. But I'm a busy mom. I'm constantly cooking, cleaning and driving my kids around. How could I find the time? That's the best thing about Rachel's book. I didn't need to buy loads of equipment and I can do the exercises from home at a time that suits me. Now my butt is a lot more than marginally acceptable, it looks great and even my son agrees.

4.0 out of 5 stars Basic knowledge May 16, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Most of the exercises noted in this booklet are common knowledge and can be found in almost every book on leg exercises. However I do like the way each exercise was explained and illustrated. It made for a quick and easy read and a good refresher on all of the basic exercises that have been brain washed out of us by a gym nation
