I was expecting a book with dry ingredients layered in a jar that someone has to bake. But, this is a book where you layer ingredients to give right away because it makes a dessert (not just a mix) in a jar. I can imagine quickly making some of these jars to take as a hostess gift or in individual jars to serve as dessert at a meal. Any way you make them, the recipes look delicious and very easy to assemble. Definitely a keeper of a book for when you don't know what to take as a hostess gift!

One could live without a table of contents... if each recipe began on its own page! The recipes look yummy enough but I don't think I can use this because finding what I want would be too tough.

The book is hard to navigate.     I should have a table of contents to get to the various recipes.  I most likely will not use it.

For me dry ingredients in a jar for someone else to bake would've been a better recipe book because maybe you would've actually gotten a full recipe. This book really doesn't give recipes. The majority of the book is measurements for layering ingredients in a jar which you buy, make from a box or from your own favorite recipe. The layered combinations do sound good, but this just isn't my kind of recipe book.
