"In a tie for second place are Rocky II and the finale, "Rocky Balboa", not yet released on DVD. Both are movies that are true to the heart of Rocky. They both have character development and relationships that make them more than just action/boxing movies."
"In at thrid place is Rocky V. This film was supposed to be the last Rocky movie. There is a definite return to the roots of Rocky, with much more character and relationship development. Adrian plays a promiment role (which for Rocky movies is always a good thing), as does Rocky's son. It is a story of family. A satisfying movie."
"In at 4th place is Rocky III. Still a very satisfying movie, it strays a bit from the heart of the first two films. Adrian plays a big part in this movie, and the beach scene between her and Rocky is the turning point of the film."
"Each sequel is a bit weaker than the one preceeding it. Rocky IV has little character development. The arch villian, Drago, is an inhuman steriod monster. This is an action movie, not a drama. It strains credibility. I rank it dead last in "watchability"."
