4.0 out of 5 stars Stimulates mind and spirit September 22, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I've read 40% so far and I've been impressed. Such a book
tempts me to jump around to whatever title catches my eye.
But I'm thankful I did start with the excellent foreword by
Zaleski and the thought provoking introduction by Yancey.
As a Christian, I did not buy this particular title to bolster my faith
in Christ.
If that happens, that's wonderful, but I have other books I can turn to
for that purpose.
I bought this book because I had
hoped it would address what Ivan Karamazov called "the eternal questions."
It does. I'm glad I purchased "The Best of Spiritual Writing" and I commend
the editor for his fine selections. I look forward to finishing this book.
