4.0 out of 5 stars "Great for Questioning Yourself or the Family" October 30, 2000
Format:Paperback
I had a wonderful time just browsing through playing trivia as a soloist. Although, when I found myself involved with others the true colors of this wonderful trivia book began to shine. This book is excellent for anyone who has a fervour for good American History. You will come to find just how much you really know about the state your from or live in today. I was suprised at some of the things I was not aware of. So why not learn a little , while having a lot of fun?

5.0 out of 5 stars Trivia for the Family! January 27, 2013
By T.Brown
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I found this book today as a Kindle free download. All the reviews were positive ( 4 & 5 stars only).

I started reading the book as soon as it was on my Kindle Fire. I love how the trivia questions have a blue link at the end of the question to lead you to the correct answer. That makes it so much easier when using this book as a game. My husband loves history, especially American history. This book will also help my oldest son with American history as we play this as a trivia game.

I see my little family using this book as a family game on game night. I recommend this book to any history buff. Also to families for making this book into a game.

5 out of 5 stars due to so many ways to use this book and learn American history at the same time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Book, Great for Car Trips July 24, 2005
By J Larid
Format:Paperback
Call me old-fashioned, but we don't have a TV in our van, so our kids have to actually converse or play games on the road, and this book saw us through a long trip this summer around Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. The thing that makes the book fun is that it is (pardon the pun) all over the map, with series of questions about entertainment, politics, geography, food and drink, others too numerous to list. My kids and I just enjoyed skipping around from one section to another, quizzing each other. Whenever we crossed a state line we went to the section of the book that has a set of 20 questions for each state, which is a neat feature.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Clean Fun, Even the Political Stuff October 7, 2002
Format:Paperback
I have been a history buff for years, and there are lots of great history questions here, but I also enjoyed the material about pop culture and food. Guess I knew more about pop music and movies than I did about the presidents! There is something here for everybody including kids. I really liked the final section, 20 questions about each oft he 50 states.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loads of Fun September 20, 2002
Format:Paperback
OK, so we're all in a patriotic mood now, and why not? America has a lot to celebrate, and this book is all about every aspect of American culture and history. I found this book in my doctor's waiting room and liked it so much I bought it myself. Everything is here--history, TV, movies, pop music, food, trends, politics, especially the US presidents, lots more. I like the format of having the answers on the backs of the question pages. It's good clean fun, and we've enjoyed it with the family.
