Big thick, hard cover book, perfect for a desk reference -Not the only place to find help on letters, emails, flyers, but a great starting point.

-Big thick, hard cover book, perfect for a desk reference
-Not the only place to find help on letters, emails, flyers, but a great starting point.
-Not only tells you how to say it, but supplies definitions and histories of what an email is, what a party flyers is, etc. I find that this knowledge helps me keep an email an email and a letter a letter and not mix their functions.
-Gives you many types of letters (persuasion, thank you, sympathy, etc.)
-I ocassionally thumb through it, always finding something I didn't know. Going from page to page can also serve as a memory jogger, reminding you of any letters or memos or emails you COULD or SHOULD be writing.

My wife has always wanted this book for those times that she just can't say things the way that she would like. It is a good reference for her to go to.

I picked a copy of this up at Zia Record Exchange for a few dollars. It's a great book that I use whenever I need to draft a letter that's outside my normal scope of communications. I love the examples the book has, in addition to the recommended word choice for that particular letter.

I work in sales and so I refer this book whenever I get the chance to. It's a must have for anyone who works in a professional environment.

It is an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL reference for anyone who has to write for any reason. You HAVE to have it! There are 877 pages in this book, so you are bound to find the words that can inspire you or inform you in the direction you need to go. It has an excellent Index, too. I highly recommend it.

I'd love the opportunity to tell Rosalie Maggio and Jack Griffin
how much I have used this book and rely on it.
I'm highly educated, high level position, and yet---I appreciate the help in 'just how to say' the right thing.

Excellent reference material!
