1.0 out of 5 stars 38 pages, $2.99??? February 14, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I'm getting sick and tired of these "Authors" who self publish charging book readers $2.99 for 2 chapters.
If you can't write a complete book don't publish it.

The sad part is that is Jennifer Simms put book 1, 2 and however many more into ONE book this could be a really good story.

Not worth the money.

2.0 out of 5 stars It was s good book. February 5, 2013

The main reason I only gave it two stars was because the length. It was only a chapter long! I feel like I wasted my money it only took me less than an hour to read. If they only going to be this short make them .99¢ not 2.99!! The story line is good and I enjoyed reading it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Part 2 Lori, lori, Lori March 5, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Ok I didn't know that this book reads like a series. I don't know how I feel about it. But again poor Lori. She's in over her head with theses brothers. Trevor and Jordan are beautiful to look at and smart men. One warns her off the other but I think she should stay away from them both. She needs her job but at what cost to herself. Can't wait for next couple of chapters.

While the chapters (it's no where near being called a book) are interesting there are too few to really make any judgments whether good or bad. The chapters so far are well written and engaging, but $3.00 for every couple of chapters is ludicrous. The sad part is I bet Ms. Simms is thinking up the next few chapters as I write this review. Finish the book BEFORE you upload it and sell it. No matter how good your story-line may be, tactics like this can hurt your reputation as a serious writer who respects her readers. As a business person, you might as well be selling snake oil. The let down sure is the same.

2.0 out of 5 stars 2 chapters from the completed novel April 27, 2014
By Melissa
Format:Kindle Edition
I'm glad this "series" is available as my monthly freebie with my Amazon Prime. The characters were not developed. This fact could be because this download weas chapters 2 and 3 from the completed novel. The story of Lori and the Bishop Brothers might be better and make more sense if all parts of the "book" were released as one novel rather than "teasers" or "short stories." I found Lori to be an annoying character with countless insecurities and completely unrealistic. The Bishop Brothers were not developed at all. Being hot, smart, billionaires chasing a girl with ridiculous insecurities is getting to be a repetitive plot in many books. I'm going to read the next installment because I am curious to see if the story develops and maybe I'm jumping the gun thinking it is strictly chapters based on sexual tension.

2.0 out of 5 stars Hate No ENDING July 18, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I got this free so I can't complain about price or can I??? I hate these books with no ending. I won't buy any other books by this author since this is the way she works. I know she is not alone, but I won't buy any of their books either.

The chapter was erotica and she did that well, but one chapter or a few pages and then you have to get another book to see what happens next? NOPE, don't care that much and by the time it comes out I have forgot the first one anyway.

I can't wait for part 4. The only I don't like is this book is sold as little chapters. I want more and need more of this book. I need to finish this book and find out everything.
