When it comes to the truth, you can look it up right here to begin your historical venture and know for yourself what it means to be who you are. No need to figure it out but can ease your mind when you realize that there are so many of our people that have been in the beginning and yet are not being told who they are in Bible Study.

Though many books have been written citing people of color in the Bible, Walter McCray is a pioneer on the subject. His scholarly, well documented work is not a one time read. I would classify this book as a reference resource, because it is the type of book one uses "when needed". This book answered a question I heard someone ask years ago, "Are there any Black people in the Bible?" And thanks to Rev.McCray's research, one can boldly answer, "Yes, and I've got proof"... I highly recommend this book!
