I use this for my cat. He likes to drink out of the faucet in the bathroom. We installed this by just pushing it on the spout. The bottom flap stays down so the water flows normally until you are ready to use the spout. We just push the flap up, turn the water on and it comes out of the spout. Now my cat doesnt have to stoop down to get the water.

My daughter never likes to brush her teeth. I saw this little whale in the store and thought maybe she'd brush just so she could use it. Turns out she loves it and so does my son.

It's easy to install, just push onto the faucet. Water will automatically run through the whale's mouth when it's turned on. To use, just close the whale's mouth. The water then runs up the spigot and the kids have their very own water fountain. No more messy cups.

The downside is if the children turn the water on too high, it could end up in their face or on the bathroom floor, but they learn quickly.

No cups to get in the way around the bathroom sink. We've used these for many years. We even take them on vacation with us because we miss them when we're gone. There's one in every bathroom.

When kids come over to play and they want a drink of water, we direct them to the bathroom.

This product I just ordered works as wonderfully as the one I had when my (now) teens were little, I am so glad that this product was still available so I could get one for my 4 year old! This fountain gives Bella a sense of independence in that she can control the water flow and get a sip whenever she wants, as she says "all by myself". I think it's as great now as the one I had 12 years ago because this gadget means I don't have a tooth rinsing cup stitting on the bathroom counter tempting the littlest to make her toothbrush swim and splash all over, lol.

We had one of these when I was young. My sister and I loved it....dunno where it is now but I'm tempted to buy another one. Make your bathroom sink awesome and get one. It did squirt us if we turned up the water too much...you will never have more fun brushing your teeth. Terrific little random thing.

I did have to put a new smaller size bottom on my bathroom faucet for this to fit but it was easy enough to screw on and off and I didn't need any help from my husband. My 3 year old daughter has been using her whale fountain for half a year or more now and we all love it. It makes brushing teeth fun and keeps cups off the counter. It is nice that my daughter can go and get herself a drink of water whenever she feels like it. We love it!

In theory, this is great -- what child wouldn't want to squirt water from the faucet? I thought this would be great for gulping water while brushing teeth, but the bottom had to be held tight when the water was on to create the fountain, and the piece fell off when the water was turned off. This is the first item I have ever returned to Amazon.

This helps keep dirty water cups out of the bathroom. Also, it is fun to use!

This is a replacement of a previous one for the kids bathroom. It really helps to keep the sink area uncluttered. Works fine.
