This book has single-handedly changed the way that I approach giving to the Lord. It doesn't matter if you are new to the concept of giving, or have been tithing your entire life, The Blessed Life will transform what you think about giving. Robert Morris' approach to giving will change your heart. I went from being a "begrudging giver" to being a "rip your paycheck open and can't wait to get to church" joyful giver. My wife can not believe the transformation in my heart. Neither can I. This is an unbelievable book! Buy 2 and give 1 away.

Has something ever happened to you that you couldn't easily explain? Well, something did happen in my life, and this book, The Blessed Life, taught me what it was.

Here is our story. We are self employed and run two businesses. Both businesses were successful for the past 8 years, but then 2012 hit. And both of our businesses took a hit. Our income dropped by 75%. We found ourselves living on 25% of what we were used to. On top of that, we had debt from the business that we had to continue to pay. A challenging year financially for us to say the least.

But with every bad there is good. For the last 10 years, we have been looking for a church. Not just any church, but a church where we felt connected and part of. Near the end of 2012, we found such a place. The church is Moncton Wesleyan Church. (if you are ever in Moncton, New Brunswick on a Sunday morning, I would encourage you to attend - services at 9:15 and 11:00) Okay, I have digressed a bit. So, getting back to my story, we attended this church, and felt connected to the message, to the music, and more importantly to God.

They don't take up a collection at this church. They have offering boxes on the wall outside, and if you choose, you can make an offering after the service. Well after our first service, we felt so moved we gave all we had in our wallet - $20. Of course, we went back the following week, and again were moved by the service. We wanted to give. As mentioned, our finances were very tight but we gave again the only money we had. This continued Sunday after Sunday for about 4 weeks. We didn't have any extra money, we really didn't even have enough money to pay our bills, but we found the money to give to the church.

Reading this book has changed my life. Never before did I understand the true meaning of the tithe. Applying the principles outlined in this book has not only changed my financial situation, but has blessed my marriage. I grew up in church and I have never heard the principles of tithe and offerings like this. I love this book!

The executive summary for this book is 'Gotcha!'. You will have to read it to learn what that means. Essentially, the theme and message is ... you cannot outgive God. The book is a good story of one person's personal journey down the path of Blessing.

A wonderful book. The principles in this book have changed my life and my view of God. I've read the book three times and have given away several copies of it. Robert Morris has a relationship with God that I find refreshing and inspiring. I want what he has and since reading the book my relationship with God is now a more meaningful one. Thank you Mr. Morris for sharing your journey.

This is an excellent biblically-based book for every person seeking to learn more about the purpose of giving in the church. I like it because it is focused on God's will for our finances, and the attitude we must have in order for our givings to be acceptable unto Him. This is for those who would like to have their faith increased to new levels in believing God to supply every need. This book has given me a more intimate relationship with God, because God has taken me to another level in renewing my mind. A must read for every believer!

This book changed my whole perspective on Christian giving. It provides a nonoffensive, scriptually based, view of how God instructs us to give back his provision to us.
