Being a visual learner, I appreciate the pictures. I don't think the book was meant to be a disortation on body language but more of a quick reference guide for all of us trying to succeed in our professional life. Oh yea, how could I forget the personal aspect as well. I recommend this book to anyone who wants the edge in life!
There is one section on toxic people in the book. This section provides a lot of detail about body language. We are treated to statements like "tight, pursed-lip grins, and their lips do not turn up at the corners as happens with a genuine or sincere smile". This was obviously too difficult for the hired actors to recreate so this section is totally without pictures. The section that really would have benefited from pictures. Maybe we are supposed to buy the author's other book on that specific topic.
One star is generous for this book.
