Ms. French has the ability to set up scenes and bring her readers with her through some thrilling escapes, as well as some chilling moments and dead-on romance. These characters will become one of your favorite teams.

There are enjoyable characters in this exciting adventure story that all mystery readers will love...a highly recommended and entertaining read for all.

This is my fifth book in The Bodyguard series. I think readers will find this book more suspenseful than comedic, unlike previous books which contained both, although there are comedic moments in this one. Natasha and Striker are trying to find a balance in their relationship while being pursued by a vengeful crime boss intent on getting to Natasha. As always, Natasha's friends, Samoan bodyguards Pit and Bigun are along for the ride, as well as their dogs, Brutus, PJ and BJ.

Fifth book in series can stand alone as a romantic & action packed ride. Natasha is still trying to convince her fiancé Jonce Striker that she needs her independence to run her own bodyguard business. Their romance is hot but they keep argung therefore staying stuck because Jonce still wants her to quit being a bodyguard & be his wife & mother to children. Natasha returns his ring but grieves as Jonce does about actually breaking up. In this book, against Natys wishes, head of a Mafia group, whose life she saved, tells her there is a contract out on her. Jonce is then appointed to bodyguard Naty. They hide out in a woodsy cabin, argue & plot with two other guards to outfox & outrun those after them. Lots of conversations, loving & shootings with the bad guys. A fun book with many interesting aspects.
At times Jonce seems like Ranger from the Janet Evanovich, Stephanie Plum bounty Hunter series. Or like Roarke from the In Death series by Jd Robb (Nora Roberts). This bodyguard series has similiar wacky characters & humor.
I enjoyed all the books. Liked the page turning to find out what happens next. Sometimes Natasha is immature & impulsive. But it makes for interesting consequences & a good read.

The book I love all of the series except the new one that comes out 2013"

Christy Tillary French.....makes interesting reads........
I don't usaully like these kind of books as it does alittle talk between the Head bodyguard and his company and in the beginning he hires a lady
to do errands and such....she decides to be a woman bodyguard, but he says "NO!" as its to dangerous for a woman......and so she starts her own
business, and of course he always has to rescue her with two big, big bodyguards.....it is a humerous, about being a bodyguard and her doing her best,
and love and some sexy talk or what ever comes into it, but just turn the page. She is an interesting and fantastic writer.....

I'm working on the next Bodyguard and The Bodyguard....which I always get from Amazon..........as my library doesn't have it...this book
makes me laugh out loud at some of the problems she gets into. haha.

This is a wonderful fast paced go get 'em strong woman type of book. But still a little romance along the way. If you love adventure then this is your book.
All i can say is if you want adventure, mystery and a little romance then this is your book. I can't wait for Christy Tillery French's next book. You won't be disapointed.
I will say if you haven't read her other 4 befor this one you are defanitly gonna want to.
