'The Book on Business Skills for Today: Training Business Professionals' published 2010 was the first edition, and became a bestseller on December 31, 2012 in Kindle format.
Both editions were written in response to the increasing skills gap in today's workforce; and to help strengthen business skills where these skills gaps are prevalent.
The purpose is to provide clear business strategies for ways to deploy growth; and present new business skills to help identify new opportunities.

I write about motivation factors to help busy professionals stay ahead of their competition. I write how you can learn to identify trends and increase your leadership performance. For example, I share strategies to help reduce workplace conflict. I want to help tired professionals recharge and retool and new graduates find useful ways to improve workplace interaction.
This book is full of clear and actionable steps to help avoid burning out employees and managers - it's detailed enough that you could use it to formulate plans and schedules, but not so detailed that you feel bogged down. The book covers researching business plans, allocating resources, organizing workplace training, and increasing sales, among other subjects. There are also helpful links throughout the book and many opportunities to reach out to the author in case of questions.

Loreen Michele Sherman (1961-) Canadian born in Calgary, Alberta Loreen Sherman has grown up surrounded by the oil and gas industry. Like the industry change is complex. Sherman shares over 30-years inter-disciplinary experience to provide risk informed decisions to executives.
Director and CEO of Star-Ting Incorporated, Sherman's focus is on management consulting services. She attained faculty certification from Meritus University (part of the Apollo Group) where instructing on management concepts and organizational behavior were taught by her internationally in an online eLearning environment.
Highly involved in community Sherman holds the position of Chair for the Canadian Heavy Oil Association's External and Government Relations committee. The mandate is to provide strategic advice to the Board.
