I am a Bible and Biblical History student and have read hundreds of Religious and Scriptural books. This is one of the books from the New Testament apocrypha. I find no value in this book for anything. It is basically and list of fragments of scripture from Scrolls and Qumran discoveries. It is NOT readable and has in my opinion no redeeming qualities. Each written fragment has so many missing/not available words, that the EndNotes are longer than the text. Although it is cheap,($6.54), I would not advise buying it, and would return mine except that would be wasting more money on postage.
Sorry to be so negative. This is the first book I've ever purchased from Amazon that has been so disappointing!

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, October 17, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Book of Giants: The Fallen Angels and their Giant Sons (Forgotten Books) (Paperback)
Calling this a "book" is rather a generous description. It's more like a pamphlet and the little bit of material covered isn't even readable. It's broken fragments of completely unreadable material. Disappointed and I don't recommend it at all. In fact I requested a refund.

1.0 out of 5 stars The title is simply misleading, December 25, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Book of Giants: The Fallen Angels and their Giant Sons (Forgotten Books) (Paperback)
It is a short description of a few extra biblical books but, with the exception of quoting bits from the New Testament the content does nothing to support the title. Total waste of time and money. Doesn't deserve even a 1 star.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly written, February 24, 2013
This review is from: The Book of Giants: The Fallen Angels and their Giant Sons (Forgotten Books) (Paperback)
Lacking content to say the least. I was left confused as to how this could be considered a book with so much missing information.

Very disappointing

I hate I even have to give this one star as it is not even worth that. Its more of a pamphlet than a book. Most restaurant menus are thicker than this. It is wrote more like a college paper to a professor than as useful information or informative. Would not recommend this garbage to anyone.

1.0 out of 5 stars A RIP OFF, February 4, 2014
By
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Book of Giants: The Fallen Angels and their Giant Sons (Forgotten Books) (Paperback)
For 19.00 + this is the biggest rip-off. Only 34 pages. Pages 1-7 is the introduction. Pages 8-21 is some type of translation with every other word or more missing. Page 22-34 are endnotes, mostly written in (do not know the language - could be Hebrew, Aramaic) And that is it. A waste of my money and time. The title is misleading - I expected the book to have a list of Giants and Fallen Angels instead where the translation begin on page 8 the first sentence is: (Frg. c)...hard...arrow...bow, he that...Sam said:: "Blessed be...had [he?] seen this, he would not have ."

It is like this through page 21 then it gets worse.

Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Book of Giants: The Fallen Angels and their Giant Sons (Forgotten Books) (Paperback)
The book did not have a lot of clear and consice writings in it regardlessding the subject. Book also had too many unexplained acronyms and during references.
