3.0 out of 5 stars Different story, odd characters August 27, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Streetwalker Sylvia and a priest who's burned out in his job make a different kind of story. Not exactly a mystery, though Sylvia is supposed to be a slueth, roping Father into helping her. Her efforts at finding clues dragged the story down and felt forced at times. She gets herself and Father into danger doing some pretty stupid things.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it! June 25, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Sylvia the prostitute and Father Christopher the priest take us on a mysterious journey through England. In the process, they learn things about each other and themselves. This is a fun mystery, as well as a beautiful story of self-discovery and friendship.

The characters are rich in development, easy to love and empathize with. The plot moves at a good pace, and the mystery kept me guessing all the way through to the end. There is no strong language or graphic scenes of any sort, which makes this perfect entertainment for all readers.

2.0 out of 5 stars A slow winding read September 21, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This is story about Sylvia the streetwalker with a heart of gold who feels she is nothing and Father Christopher the Catholic priest who has lost his energy to serve God. When Sylvia 's client was arrested he quietly gave her the name of a person to find. On the way home she finds herself drawn into a Church and from here the story starts when she meets Father Christopher who is fighting his own problems. The story fell flat for me , too much sermonizing ,I felt I was sitting in Church, too much of real life left out and the story just not based on reality . The ending is the ending .I was given this free to review.

4.0 out of 5 stars Something a little out of the ordinary
I enjoyed this story immensely. It is an unusual plot, and almost metaphorical in its underlying theme of redemption. I find myself hoping for a sequel.

Once I started the book, it was hard to put down. I never expected the ending to turn out quite like it did. Great read.

1.0 out of 5 stars Yeah, right.
I'm beginning to see why these novels are so cheap (the one's advertised for downloading by Amazon on a daily basis). They're all of a kind and none approaching literary quality. Read more
