About the Author

Being a writer was not what Michele was supposed to be when she 'grew up' but then neither was being a dancer. Her poor parents. They thought when she toddled off to law school they'd bred a responsible, useful adult and instead they got a performer and word junkie. Now over the moon to be writing full time, Michele works from a studio in New Zealand, surrounded by whispering trees and only moderate interruptions from the real world of husband, one year old son and chocolate breaks. Well, perhaps slightly more than moderate interruptions... Her other great loves are yoga, great vegetarian food, sunshine, hot love scenes, chocolate and happy endings.

When I first heard about this, I was like HELL YES. I mean, have you read the book's summary? Cruise ship, no strings fling that turns serious, and fun onboard romance? Yes please! Now, after I finished this read, I wasn't blown away by it, but it was still very enjoyable to read.

The characters do take a little time to warm to them and I have to admit by the very end, I still wasn't very interested in them. I liked them enough to want to continue reading, but nothing special.

Out of all of the Indulgence lines from Entangled that I've read, this is probably my least favourite. I don't know whether it's the plot itself or the characters I couldn't connect or sympathize with, but I just wasn't feeling it, unfortunately.I also thought the misunderstanding/miscommunication throughout was just too easy and doesn't make for an exciting read.

The writing was very good. I couldn't put this book down even though I didn't like it that much. I give props to authors who make me want to continue reading, and I read this in one sitting only. Granted it was short, but I'm easily distracted so that's also saying something.

If you're looking for an adult short read with very lovely written steamy scenes, then I recommend The Boss and her Billionaire.

I ate this book up, just could not turn my kindle off! The story cleverly eschews the romance novel formula by having the female lead in the position of power as the cruise director...and the hunky male lead is a dancer.

I particularly enjoyed the dance scenes - the rehearsals, description of performances and interplay between dancers. Often i find the support characters are barely sketched in other romance novels but in this story they are fully fleshed, interesting and often hilarious.

And the chemistry between the leads bursts off the page - they're hot!

Move over Love Boat...this has made me want to go on a cruise!

It's no wonder that Michele's first romance has a little sparkle of the stage tucked into its pages as she was a performer long before she got adicted to the page. Being a writer was not what she was supposed to be when she 'grew up' but then neither was a dancer. Her poor parents. They thought that when she toddled off to law school they'd bred a responsible, useful adult and instead they got a performer and word junkie.
She now writes full time in a studio surrounded by the whisper of wind in the trees and only intermittent interruptions from her young son, husband and hunger pangs. She's based in New Zealand (land of beaches and hobbits) loves chocolate, yoga, sunshine, her boys and happy endings.
