5.0 out of 5 stars Touching May 4, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
"The Box" by Brian Bigelow is a beautifully told and heart warming story about the friendship between a teenager and an old carpenter, both of whom benefit from each other's company.
Short and simple it builds slowly and pulls on your heart strings, it is the stuff great childhood memories are made of and it reminded me of my own youth and the times where things other than TV and x-box games could interest a child, and where people like the old carpenter took an interest in and time for the younger generation.

I was given this book as a gift for an honest review.
This book was a really good book. This book is great for people who just want to relax and read a good story. It teaches you that everything is not free, and that you need to work hard for what you want.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW August 6, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I received an e-ARC copy of this book in return for an honest review. This is a charming little story about friendship. I enjoyed every single minute of this story. I loved how Paul took Johnny under his wing and the bond between the two was just magnificent and incredible. Johnny's desire to work, learn, and earn money. It's really a great teaching story for teens to read. I recommend it to all ages to enjoy.
