the boy with pink hair is a fantastic book, with beautiful, fun, cute illustrations. the story is great, the lesson is clear and the art is perfect. my 2 and a half year old daughter was instantly drawn to it, and instantly understood the importance of appreciating 'just being different'. now she frequently asks to read the boy with pink hair, and especially loves the pink feast he creates! this is a lesson in tolerance each of us needs to learn at as early an age as possible.

Notice how many of the reviewers have not even read the book, have nothing to say about the book, only about the author. Children don't know who wrote this book & despite what you conservative, hateful people think, children should not be afraid to be different & be themselves, and any book that supports that message is a positive one. I feel sorry for the children of the reviewers who are so hateful, negative & unaccepting.

First of all, this is brave. In today's world, we do not accept young boys who are flamboyant, proud and "pink." This pink is symbolism for being different, being unique, being YOURSELF. What kind of kid's books are out there that hint that being a gay man may be ah- okay? Well now they have one. And those kids who relate to this pink haired boy will find freedom and will remember that message when they are going through hard times. I RESPECT THIS WORK.
