Judging by the trailers of The Brass Teapot, I didn't expect much from the movie, and it seemed like another cliché and Hollywood version of funny; however after watching it today, I have to admit it has its moments, and it can satisfy different audiences. If you just want to watch something fun and easy-to-digest and you enjoy simple jokes and humors, this movie delivers that with adequate acting and appealing story. If you need something deeper from the movies you watch, you still are going to find some hidden meanings behind simple humor and sarcasms, but you have to look harder. All and all, it is worth one time watching.

My wife and I are a pair of aging boomers, but we loved The Brass Teapot. Full disclosure: It is probably aimed at 20 and 30 somethings, but we were taken by the charm of the story and the authentic renderings by Juno Temple and Michael Angarro -- guess we are young at heart after all. That said, the film deals with some pretty deep philosophical material, yet never seemed to take itself too seriously. Saw it over a week ago, and it is still a rich source of conversation around our house. Lots of fascinating back story to analyze -- can't wait for the sequel! This movie will become a cult classic for a generation. Wonderful film!

Has a deep moral tone of the corruption of man kind due to the factor of money. Modern movie but no nudity which was nice for once. Would watch again

The Brass Teapot is such a quirky twist on what can happen when people fall pray to greed. The star studded cast was funny and on point. The music was great and the set and costume design was eccentric but fit well with the parable.

How much pain would you endure to get what you want? Then, how much injury inflicted on somebody else would maintain your wealth? Likable film, a little dark, but more lighthearted then "The Box". Glad I rented it.

Loved the movie, it was just what we were looking for as a date movie. We laughed, it made us think a bit, it gave us something to talk about.
It had a bit of Pulp Fiction, a bit of Aladdin, a bit of Jackass, a very unusual mix that worked.

The Brass Teapot came out of nowhere. I was not expecting this dark comedy--funny, interesting, and a smaller film with a lot of heart.

This film was a delight. It was light and fun, and has an awesome message. I really love Michael Angarano and he is so awesome and believable in this film. Juno Temple was funny! I'm glad I saw this film. So much fun and the history of the Brass Teapot is pretty cool too. Wish I had a teapot that shot out cash whenever I stubbed my toe.
