Articulation- peg and post ankles, peg and post knees, ball jointed hips, waist swivel, peg and post shoulders, peg and post elbows, ball jointed head.
Accessories- wooden arm shield, dwarven sword, Orcrist (elvish sword) and sheathe, overcoat.
*The sculpting is quite good, especially considering this is a mass market released action figure. The resemblance to the film character is quite well done and Thorin's outfit is covered with small details: The fur of his coat, the scales of his armor, and the pattern on his tunic all stand out.
*While Thorin is a small stout figure, he does have a good bit of well thought out articulation. His arms allow for a variety of poses (although wrist swivels would have been nice) and his legs do allow you to get him in a few good stances.
*The accessories are excellent.Read more ›
He comes with several accessories. Perhaps the coolest feature is that you can stash all the accessories on the figure. His dwarven sword can be stored in a sheath on his hip, his wooden shield can be fastened on his left hand and his elvish sword, Orcist, can be stored in a sheath on his back. The swords aren't made of the bendy plastic, so no need to worry about goofy, oblong-shaped weapons.
Unfortunately, I accidentally managed to snap the pommel off of Orcist, trying to fit it into his right hand. So be especially careful when trying to wedge his weapons into his hands. Overall, this is a good figure, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the Hobbit.

This was a beloved toy until it ran away with the other dwarves and that Halfling. The little dude was proportionate, well-made, and looked cool. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Leonard P. Garnell
