Editorial Reviews

Review

The Bullying Workbook for Teens is a remarkable, relevant resource for both teens and professionals. The activities are engaging and offer practical strategies to help teens work through and cope with bullying situations, while also raising their self-confidence. As I read it, I found tools to implement in my own work with teens. This book offers eye-opening insights and will be useful to any teen who has been victimized by bullies.”
Rosalind Wiseman, author of Queen Bees & Wannabes, the book that inspired the motion picture, Mean Girls

The Bullying Workbook for Teens is a non-judgmental companion, reflection aid, and an ‘aha’ moment-maker for isolated teens. It's also a much-needed tool for clinicians. I recommend it highly and look forward to using it myself.”
—Rachel Simmons, author of Odd Girl Out

This is a must read/must use resource to help children stand up against bullying! As a school counselor I have used this book working with middle school students and the students love it! I love that it is current and uses real life situations that children encounter in different environments. The sections are short and simple and they help empower students to advocate for themselves.

My daughter was under the thumb of subtle bullying for a good year.....at a Christian School. After reaching to my daughter's youth pastor, he spoke to some former educators of,his. One of those professors highly recommended this workbook. It's a meaty book, so a adult leading the approach is ideal. This workbook isn't written from a Christian approach, but the youth pastor has previewed it in its entirety & said its basic straight forward approach is as simple as it gets.

I work with teens and the ones dealing with bullying say this is helpful.
Kids just need to feel like they have options for dealing with bullies and this gives it to them.

I have been in the School Counseling profession for 22 years, and I have seen the emotional and mental anguish that often comes from teens bullying one another. I have also seen the healing that comes when teens learn to manage their emotions and not bully - and when victims learn coping skills when it does happen. This Bullying Workbook for Teens is an outstanding resource to help both those who have been/are being bullied and those who are tempted to bully. I highly recommend this book for educators, students, and parents alike.

Oh how I wish I'd had this workbook in high school! "The Bullying Workbook for Teens" is a must read for teens, parents, counselors, & teachers as it provides practical yet thoughtful processes for teens as they work through their own reactions to bullying & cyber bullying. In addition, the 42 activities model reflective practices that our teens can use throughout their lives to create more meaningful and healthy relationships with others. I've been waiting for a book like this... and it's finally here!
