I bought these dvd's for my grandchildren-they are the same Richard Scarry shows my own kids grew up watching. The quality is ok-these dvd's aren't hd but they play just fine and the kids love them. A great bargain for so many episodes. There are bonus episodes of Busytown Mysteries on there as well. For the price, you can't go wrong. I love anything Richard Scarry-nice to know my grandkids can watch these over and over and I don't have to worry about any inappropriate content!

Richard Scarry's books & videos used to be more prevalent than they are now and as a teacher I can tell you that his items are great for kids - especially his work from 1985 - 1995. They are beneficial to kids in a multitude of way and are an easy, simple and interactive way to learn. The way the books are set up provide great opportunities for adults to interact with kids and kids love to just look at them on their own. The videos are just good basic stories. Nothing fancy, controversial, or dumbed down.

My son LOVES this show! After watching it on Netflix over and over, we were so sad that it was no longer offered by Netflix. So, when we saw it available to purchase via Amazon on Demand we were very happy.

Until we watched it - there is a BIG lag between the video and the audio. Very disappointing.

We watch Amazon content via our Roku box... does anyone have any tips for fixing the audio lag problem?

My class is awestruck when we play an episode or two! It is nice to know that it is still around.

i love this!! sooo many episodes and soooo little amount of money spent to even get them! My son loves to watch them and in the dvd player i dont have to press anything to replay the episodes. they just keep looping until you change the disk. the inside is all the disks about 3 episodes on each one and each disk is in a paper envelope. it saves me a lot of space.

I remember watching this as a kid, although, back than I didn't know the name of the show, I just knew I liked watching it. But than I eventually remembered the name of the cartoon. It's been so long since I last saw this cartoon, I was probably four or five when I first watched this whole cartoon of The Busy World Of Richard Scarry. This makes me think your never too old for watching cartoons that are good as this one. You can be young or old and still watch this. It was one of the best cartoons I ever watched next to something like The Berenstain Bears. It's an old fashioned styled classic and you can't beat the classics. I had completely forgotten about this good old cartoon but the memory of it came back after all these years.
