5.0 out of 5 stars Face Wrap works great!
My dog is a Mini-Australian Shepherd, and is very dominant, thinks she needs to protect us. I've tried many things except a shock collar. The Face Wrap worked immediately. She doesn't bark, sometimes still might whimper a bit, bit it helps calm her down almost completely. I would recommend this for high-anxiety dogs that are prone to bark.

2.0 out of 5 stars Calming face wrap
The sizing chart is off a bit. Was way to big for my lil' guy so ended up returning item. Unsure of practicality of wrap but if you do decide to order think small.

Works so well, that my foster dog destroyed it. He does not like it on his face, but the constant outdoor barking has been drastically reduced.

Calming Face Wrap by Anxiety Wrap - Size 4 I had to return the product due to my dog not accepting it (she refused to eat even when the product was off (yeah...she's nuts...lol) It may work but just not for her. The company was extraordinary...it was shipped and received in super fast time and their return policy was great. Cindy

After a $100 shock collar and $50 in batteries, we gave up on getting our Yorkie to "be quiet." I read about the face wrap on a message board and figured, if it doesn't work, it costs us less than $10.

Our Yorkie barks at everything - a hanging umbrella on a doorknob to neighbors across the street getting out of their car. I was surprised that the barking stopped for these mild occurrences. I don't know if the face wrapped "calmed" her or if it just made it harder to bark. She doesn't try to get the face wrap off; however, she lays down wherever she is and doesn't move. She may follow me to another room, while the wrap is still on - but she lays on the floor (almost motionless).

If you have a dog that barks when someone comes to your house, I would suggest placing the wrap on prior to the person's arrival. The wrap doesn't seem to stop the barking when a stranger/friend enters the home. I believe our dog may feel threatened or overly excited because someone she knows is entering the house. This behavior is quite different from what I stated in the paragraph above.

I give a five star rating because it works better than a shock collar. The face wrap works for on the everyday occurrences such as the ones mentioned above. This is what we were seeking in a bark-control system. We found our solution - the calming face wrap.

3.0 out of 5 stars The calming face wrap, January 6, 2012

The calming face wrap seems to give my Dachshund a little more confidence than she had before. It does not stop the barking but the barking is a litte bit less and a lot less intense.

My dogs just pulled this off the second I walked out the door, they hated it. No good. I will be returning this. Don't even waste your $10.00 just work on anti-anxiety tricks, like boredom busters, and quiet time away training

My little Maltese, Pretty, barks a lot. I thought she might bark a little less if I put it on when company was visiting, but she can bark just as much with the wrap in place. The good thing is however, that she can eat and drink with it on. Otherwise, it has no effect on her.

1.0 out of 5 stars Save your money for a bark collar, August 6, 2008
Did not work with ~1 year old chocolate lab (constant barking). The dog was too distracted trying to remove it, even after following manufacturer's suggestions. Basic design flaw: it cannot be secured so that the dog is unable to remove it. Save your money for an anti-barking shock collar. Ours has reduced barking down to occasional wimpers..."
