This is an absolute STEAL at 99 cents!!! Stephanie Elliot writes sexy, charming characters that you will instantly relate to and fall in love with. You'll be right there in the cell phone lot, rooting for Grant and Bridge, wondering what comes next. A fun read that you'll come back to again!

I bought this book because I've loved what I've read on the author's blog, ManicMommy and wanted to support her book when it was released. I'm not usually a big reader of novellas, and was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this book! My only complaint, I didn't want it to end, it was that good. The writing is excellent and rang so true and the premise was fun. I must be living under a cave though, because I had to google 'cell phone lot' as I wasn't familiar with the term, and sure enough my local airport, Logan in Boston has one, who knew?

This story was also a page-turner for me and such a fun read, I was on the edge of my seat rooting for the characters and wondering what would happen next. There's a wonderful warmth and she hit just the right note of humor, just enough to add to the story and make you smile. I hope the author is working on something else, ideally a longer story, something I can curl up with for awhile. I look forward to it!

Well, Steph! This was a fun, easy read and I can certainly relate to Bridge and Grant's instantaneous connection! We've all met people in our lives who are inexplicably like someone we've known forever, so for me the story was fun to read because both of them had a chance at making it work. I liked that, for this length of a story, Melissa didn't get all complicated and catty. I think this story could easily be developed into a full length novel with a whole lot more tension and a few twists and turns... like what if Melissa were a little more likeable? Or what if her connection to Grant was more developed when he's picking her up? Like maybe they are a long distance couple trying to make it work, and in meeting Bridge he then struggles with his choices.. you know me! Just brainstorming!... I love the possibility of more to the story! I do have to tell you there's one thing I don't like, but I would have liked it probably had I not read 1 1/2 books of the 50 Shades books.... the biting of the lip thing. I know it is most likely coincidental, or you should sue, because you probably wrote this first, but I am so sick and freaking tired of the oh-so-sexy biting her lip crap. I'm sorry. Like I said, if I had read it first I would have liked your use of it, but all I could think when I read those descriptions was how much I hate the 50 Shades books. :( Our sexy female heroines need to come up with some different quirks.Great job, Steph, keep it up! Let's see more!

Just so you know, this is a novella so it's not very long and it's a quick read. And there is nothing wrong with that, is there? I had an hour car ride home yesterday and I got this little gem polished off in that amount of time. Luckily I was not driving at the time (that would be bad) ~ I was the passenger.

I have been following Stephanie's blog since I first started thinking about blogging myself. Her blog is one of the first blogs I came across and I love it. She has a great sense of humor and .... she gives away lots of books!

The Cell Phone Lot is a wonderful, fun story. You probably can guess how the story ends but it sure was fun getting there. Stephanie is a very good writer and the hour I spent in this story passed very quickly and was extremely enjoyable.

I am excited to read whatever Stephanie writes next!

Grant and Bridge each find themselves waiting in the cell phone lot on a wintry, Chicago day. Grant is reluctantly picking up a woman he met on the Internet and Bridge is waiting for her sister.

Bridge's cell phone is dead, the snow is coming down harder and her car won't start! Grant takes notice and lends a helping hand. Both flights are delayed and Grant and Bridge use that time to get to know one another. Sparks are flying, conversation is flowing and then -- Grant's Internet friend arrives.

Read the rest to find out what happens! My only, only criticism is that it was too short and I wanted, more, more, more!!! Are, you listening to me, Stephanie? More, please!

Definitely a good read, had many LOL moments and when I got to the end I was upset and wanted more!!! Loved the story and the characters in it... great personalities! I love long books but novellas are good because you can sit and read the story and finish it without realizing you stayed up all night and have to go to work without sleep. This is a also a good "beach" read for sure, read it, and when you get to the end, have a sip of a frozen concoction and it's time to tan the other side!
Cannot wait for more from this author!!
