Fun to read with my kids.

My son and I are big Ninjago fans, and these novels are consistently good to have and fun to read as they don't just duplicate the stories from the TV show.

My 7 year old son loves it and has read it cover to cover for over a week now.

The story is probably fine, but I read this book to my son for several days in a row. I was beginning to think I had lost all of my intelligence! I'm not sure what it is about the structure of the writing, but it's nearly impossible to read aloud smoothly. I asked my husband if he had read it and he immediately said he felt like an idiot trying. It feels like it was written in another language, and then poorly translated, with bad word choices and sentence structure. Adults trying to read it to children will also be driven insane by the tiny font. My reading vision is great, but the inability to see it just exacerbates the bad writing.

Kids love lego anything, I stock almost all the Lego related books in our elementary school library. This collection of graphic novels is a big hit and a great option for 2nd thru 4th grade reluctant readers.

I have a friend who lamented that her young son was a reluctant reader. Then he found these Ninjago series at the local library and became hooked on reading them! Reading graphic novels is not a bad thing, especially if the storylines are engaging and it gets children interested in reading.

I purchased this for a friend's eight-year-old son. I flipped through the book and found that the paper quality was great and the illustrations were wonderful. The storyline of good vs. evil is something commonly found in narratives today and the book had an engaging plot. From what I've seen, the books in this series have engaging plots and are of good quality. Recommended for young boys ages 6-9.

This is a good one for reluctant readers. Anything to get them going right? My 11 year old was a very reluctant reader and this caught his attention. He has moved on to other books and is working towards reading more books with more words. Great to start with.
