One of the enchanting things about Patricia McKillip's novels is their simplicity.
I've read McKillip before and been a bit disappointed, to be honest; but this was just a lovely, lovely, lovely book, one to cherish forever.
There is excellent imagery and creative characters that are very engaging and make the story really come alive.
