I wanted a chess clock at home so my son could practice for tournaments. I was surprised that you can't find a really inexpensive clock on the market. This was about the least expensive I found. It arrived quickly and does its job. Each side is set independantly, so one player can be given more time if desired. It would be nice, however, if time could be set incrimentally at exact minutes instead of strictly analog. Not a bad clock.
