Editorial Reviews

Christians will NOT win the Culture War until they remove their children from Government Schools. Watch these DVDs and give them to friends, family, and most importantly-your pastor. In the first presentation. entitled "Whoever Controls the School Controls the World", Dr. Voddie Baucham knows what most parents are too quick to dismiss: whoever is teaching our children is also discipling them. Voddie persuasively argues that Christian parents need to take the initiative in their children's education and stop turning them over to the anti-God environment of the government school. Using Scripture, statistics, and sound reasoning, Voddie powerfully makes the case that whoever controls the schools does indeed control the world. In the second presentation, entitled "Getting Your House In Order," Dr. Baucham turns his attention to the Christian home and explains what an "orderly" home should look like. Expounding on the Old Testament text of Deuteronomy 6, Voddie highlights six characteristics of a properly ordered home. Through personal testimony and biblical instruction, Voddie educates and motivates Christian parents to rise to the challenge of changing the world-one household at a time. Two Disc Set • Total Running Time: 103 minutes

5.0 out of 5 stars Children of Caesar: The State of American Eduction October 10, 2008
Watch this dvd and be moved!! Voddie Baucham is an excellent speaker and will rock your world with his wisdom and insights. He is a homeschool dad who is passionate (to put it mildly) about the discipleship of his children. This video will challenge you if are a Christian and you've never thought about where God wants your children to attend school. If you already homeschool and disciple your own kids, buy it and lend it out to all those who will watch. Our children DO NOT belong to Caesar (the government) they belong to God. Someday we will have to give an account for how we've raised and educated them. Between 80-90% of "Christian" kids leave the faith they were raised with by the time they go to college. It's time we ask ourselves why. One clue, as Voddie says "If you send your kids to Caesar for their education don't be surprised when they come back as Romans." Get this dvd and be enormously blessed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this video! October 5, 2010

If you are thinking of homeschooling, get this DVD! If you are homeschooling, get this DVD and loan it to doutful family and friends and any one that will watch it (pastor, neighbor, long lost uncle). I have never heard a more eloquent arguement for taking the control of the care and education of our children from the government (and the current worldview.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Very challenging, and Truthful January 7, 2012
Our whole family enjoyed watching these 2 messages. After the first one, the kids asked to watch the next one right away! It is a rare perspective, and the Truth of the messages was so refreshing. He hit many important issues concerning the family. He said things that need to be said, and heard by all Christian families today, but sadly are not taught in our churches. He says it well too, very good speaker. Voddie challenges Christians to see the blessing and priviledge of having and training the children God wants to give us. He challenges both Dads and Moms to fulfill their calling. For those who strictly use KJV Bible, you will want to know he uses another version. He addresses this at the beginning of one of the messages. You will not be disappointed if you get these. They are a bit pricey, but you don't find things like this out there often. Get this and share it with a friend or young family. And if you are considering homeschooling, but haven't made your decision yet, this should do the trick. You won't be sorry (you got these dvds, or decided to homeschool).

5.0 out of 5 stars Me? Indoctrinated?! September 10, 2014
Verified Purchase
Dr. Baucham is a clear, Biblical communicator.
I challenge Christ followers to watch this presentation and follow along with open Bibles considering this subject. Most of us have been, unknowingly, indoctrinated and continue on following the rest of the masses.
Pause, read God's Word and use that as your source of wisdom- not just blindly follow what "appears" to be normal for our children's education. Don't let your family be educated by "Ceasar."
