Editorial Reviews

When news breaks that the lead singer of "The Choke" is going solo, their last gig promises to be packed with bad feelings...and murder. The band and their entourage mysteriously find themselves trapped in an old meat-packing plant that is now Club 905. But the tension turns into real panic when the body of a red-hot groupie turns up mutilated in a meat locker. Now the group recognizes that they are trapped with a vicious killer. Gruesome death and runaway fear stalk the band and their friends as they make their way through the old factory. As their desperation mounts - and the body count rises - they must stick together to survive and find a way out. Could the band's break-up have spawned a killer within?

5.0 out of 5 stars the choke rocks February 21, 2006
Format:DVD
The chicks in this movie are hot! Wonder Russell is the quintessential girl-next-door and Brooke Bailey's death scene is strangly arrousing. The film was shot in an empty warehouse in Spokane, Washington, and the creepiness of the building is apparent throughout the movie. Funny, hip, and definitly scary.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun movie August 14, 2013
By Will
Format:DVD
While by no means a masterpiece, this movie is still pretty good. It's very entertaining and not quite in the trainwreck way. I've owned this movie for years now and still go back to it occasionally.

3.0 out of 5 stars KILLER BAND October 13, 2009
Format:DVD
AN INTRIGUING PREMISE GETS HINDERED BY SLOW PACING, ANNOYING MUSIC, AND MEDIOCRE PERFORMANCES.
THE PLOT: A ROCK BAND IS BEING PICKED OFF ONE BY ONE BY AN UNKNOWN KILLER. THE SUSPECTS ARE MANY, THE IDENTITY IS A SURPRISE FOR A WHILE. OTHER THAN ELLIOTT AND JONESY, THE REST OF THE CHARACTERS ARE UNLIKEABLE AND SHALLOW. PRETTY BLOODY TOO. NOT HORRIBLE BUT NOT OVERLY IMPRESSIVE.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's a good rental June 2, 2007
Format:DVD
It starts out kind of choppy, like a rock video with odd camera angles and shots. It makes it hard to decipher if there is someone watching, or just a fancy schmancy camera shot. But once that stops, the movie picks up pace. A few of the characters are annoying, and a few are really interesting. Nancy, the drummer, was annoying with his constant chatter about nothing. On the other hand, London, the goth bassist, was a riot with her dry, black humor. She reminds me alot of Linnea Quigley's character in Return Of The Living Dead.

Not really scary, but it does offer some creepy, desolate moments.

It's worth a rental or cheap purchase.
