Recently read this with my dd age 11 who knew little about puberty at all. It is written just on their level. My dd really enjoyed the quizzes and recipes. I could tell she felt like a big girl after reading it. Nice and gentle approach to all things girls want to know about their changing body.

I got this for my 9 year old who has started to show some pre-puberty "symptoms" and I thought this would be something we could read together and use it to reference things. I read the first few pages myself and was caught off guard since it started talking about " noticing boys and getting a funny feeling inside my body"
I know my 9 year old doesn't notice boys like that yet and is oblivious to any "feelings" about it. I felt like reading this now would cause her to think about things that she may not understand.
So I've put it on the shelf for now, because I know one day it will come in handy since it had great reviews.
