Every year around November I go hunting for new Christmas songs to add to my collection. Typically Christmas songs fall into one of two categories, either they're tired versions of a classic or some newfangled junk that comes off too sickly sweet. Every once in awhile I find one that escapes these ruts and the Raveonettes "The Christmas Song" is a great example. It's an indie song with a nice melody and cute lyrics. A great addition to your collection!
