Church Forgot
In The Church Has Not Replaced God’s Israel I’m seeing the reason we as church people experience so little of God’s fullness, so few of his outlandish miracles—and what we, the church, can do about it. I understand that any old donkey can kick a barn down, but it takes a carpenter to build one. It seems the church forgot our Carpenter is a Jew. That could be why we're missing the presence many of us are longing for—the presence that does what the real Jew—Jesus—did, does, and sends his people to do: establish a government on healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing lepers, and driving out demons. Freely you have received, freely give (Matt. 10:8).

I noticed Matthew 10:5–7 too. These twelve (all Jews) Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’” We know about the “go ye” in Matthew 28, but somehow we have disconnected from the Matthew 10 message of the kingdom. Why? We’ll be looking for an answer.

Church Sputtering
Power-wise, we have to admit the Western church is running on fumes; miracles are few. Fullness-of-the-Gentiles work is in full swing elsewhere in the believing world with Matthew 10 activity going on while we Western believers are mostly longing spectators. I’m not seeing the dead raised and miracles flowing, so I have concluded church change is not an option; that the only solution is church revolution. When we lost our Jewish connection, we got some bad gas in our church tank. We're just sputtering along. Could our jesus be an “other” jesus?

Part I points out that we all have some form of theology and begins looking at the good, bad—and yes—the really ugly. It rolls out a good forerunner who ran for nothing because he didn’t run with the full message that had to be delivered. Then we look at the Word of God to see how good it is to be immersed into the real Jesus, the one born in Israel, who died in Israel, broke out of his grave in Israel, is coming back to Israel, and coming back to us because of Israel.

1.0 out of 5 stars Stutthoff concentration camp July 23, 2010
Format:Kindle Edition
The title 'born in Stutthof, Poland's death camp' with these words are incorrect. Readers should be aware that the Nazi Germans established this camp on Polish occupied soil. It was not Polish as implied by the statement. History needs to be recorded correctly. Having had a relative in Stutthoff he would be ashamed to have this camp represented as Polish.

More About the Author

Pelham Gross grew up on the family farm on Red Dog Road, 5 miles west of his hometown, Carthage, Misssissippi. He had started out with Jesus in 1940 at the age of 11. He graduated from Mississippi State in 1951 with "honors" and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1955 with a Greek and Hebrew major. He was invited to do doctorate study in Old Testament Theology.

Pelham preached his first sermon in 1951 at his home church, New Providence Baptist. In 1962 he was filled with the Holy Spirit and given his heavenly prayer language. On November 16, 1966, Pelham was team leader of 5 men headed to Mexico to jump-start a mission training school. The church van wrecked outside of Kenedy, Texas; Pelham was listed as "killed" in the local paper. He "came back" partially paralyzed from the waist down.

In 1968 when Doctor Martin Luther King was murdered in Memphis, Tennessee, Pelham was a minister in the only integrated church in the city and led in efforts of racial harmony. For this he took some hard hits as he continued for years, serving as a pastor-teacher, singer, songwriter, prophet, evangelist, proof-reader and author in the first Spirit-filled, non-denominational wave to sweep across America. Pelham also worked as a social worker/supervisor and retired in 1992 from Federal Service in the U.S. Department of Defense.

He worked some afterwards as a computer ad person and type-setter for a weekly newspaper and as a clerk for an import brokerage firm. He quit this to move to The Smithton Missouri Outpouring and served in the Smithton Community Church from 1998 to 2002. In the spring of '02 God fired frontline revelation into his soul about Israel's place in the Last Days--AND--after 10 years of being alone with peanut butter sandwiches, boiled eggs and potatoes, poptarts and can openers, God mercifully gave him a new companion. God is SO good!

Embedded into that Spirit of Revelation, they prayed and studied for three years at The International House of Prayer in Kansas City. Pelham and his "DeDe Girl" both took classes under Messianic Rabbi Jerry Feldman. During this time God aligned them with Messianic Apostle Dr. Daniel Juster of Tikkun Ministries International,

Pelham has posted several clips on YouTube. His website is where you will find articles not published on Amazon in paperback and on Kindle Reader. Thirteen years of research, study, prayer-intercession-meditation is shared for your prayerful consideration. Don't take my word for it. Take my work for what the Spirit reveals to you and go to the Scriptures with it.

Our journey has taken us from Boonville, MO, DeDe's home, to Kansas City, to Branson, and back to Boonville where we have been the last eight years. Our aim remains the same: Obey Papa one day at the time, arise with thanksgiving, hitch our spiritual plow to Holy Spirit, and diligently farm our little God-given patch in the world-field however Abba says, offer hidden-manna mysteries of the ages in these Last Days so more and more of us can live out our destinies with culture-changing certainty for God's kingdom to come and His will to be DONE ON EARTH as it is in Heaven to the glory of God. We are blending our voices and giving our all to Yeshua HaMashiach rising up through MESSIANIC BELIEVERS in Israel with a whole-hearted, full-throated "BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!" SHALOM TO ALL!

P.S. Just to let you know I take my charge seriously, I have written the last four books in a nursing home. Already bearing waist-down partial paralysis since 11-16-66, I have had to write through a strained left shoulder, inoperable torn rotater cuff on the right shoulder, recurring bladder infection, flu, ecoli infection in my digestive tract, hiatal hernia, esophagitis, gastritis, paralyzed colon, 5 eye operations, and allergies. TIME IS SO VERY SHORT and SO MANY ARE SO UNREADY FOR THE CRISIS UPON US when "all nations are coming against Israel."
