There are a few great songs on this album, but Iggy Azalea suffers from what happens when someone achieves fame so quickly so young-- she just does not have that much to say. More than half the songs are about her experiences making it in music. "Work" is a great single about this on the album, but when you realize that these themes compose most of her work on this album, you start wondering what the point is.

She's enormously talented but needs to spend some time growing up. This is what happens when you have a couple popular singles and the record company says, "quick. Write 15 songs for an LP!"

I LOVE this woman's voice and think she has a lot of talent, but ugh - I should not have purchased the entire album. Nearly every song is based around money, getting more money, getting rich, wearing Louboutins and a lot of diamonds and gold, trashing hotels, etc. like she's so effing cool now that she has all this money pouring in. Well, I do pretty well in life but can't see how many can identify with her lyrics, unless you're just trying to live through the lyrics and fantasy of being so materialistic and having all this money! There are a few songs on here that have more substance, but only a few. Perhaps this album is motivating for some, but for me- it's just a turn-off and I wish that her lyrics were more relatable and impactful- she certainly has the strong energy and confidence to make a huge statement with her music, not just boast about superficial mundane acquisitions.

Look, I can handle listening to some of the poppy junk my kids sing along with on the radio. I can get into Taylor Swift "We are Never Getting Back Together" and certainly Macklemore's "Thriftshop." Its bubblegum poppy crap, just like Kiss and their hit "Rock and Roll All Night" was in my day. I don't mind it; it can be fun. But I draw the line at "artists" like Iggy Azalea. There's just nothing worse than her brand of formulaic choreographed nonsense. She's so bad, I actually thought she was a parody of modern day popcrap music in the same vein of Brett Domino's "How to make a hit pop song" on You Tube. But, people take her seriously. Egads.

I have seen the next coming and it's name is Iggy Azalea. I'm so happy that she didn't choose a stupid name for her meteoric music career. In the beginning God gave us the bible. Then he opened his heart again and gave us Iggy Azalea. Nothing on this planet sounds more right than an Australian White Woman Rapper. For years all of my friends have been saying "You know, when are we going to get a white Australian woman rapper?" I kept telling them, it has been foretold by a 13 year old world champion Dungeons and Dragons phenom (Ricky the Court Jester of Blue Lightning and Kit Kat bars) that superior rapperdom shall emerge from the Outback. Although Ricky is a chronic bed wetter he definitely knows his white girl rap.

It's safe to say that I cried like a 5 year old the very first time I heard the soul crushing anthem "New B!tch." I remember hearing "Hey Jude" from the Beatles for the very first time. Don Mclean's "American Pie" and every song on Led Zeppelin 4. None of those compare to this instant rock classic. It's like Shakespeare was transported across time and lives inside Iggy. It's easy to tell why she's so gifted and that first song I listened to is life changing when you hear the lyrics to "New B!tch" for the first time.

"When I hop out his new six. Fresh in some new sh!t. Dang, she is too thick, who is this? Yeah I'm his new b!tch. I'm his new b!tch and I'm spending his new cash. Few trips, new bags. Dang, she is too bad. Oh you mad? That I'm his new b!tch. Yeah, I'm his new b!tch."

BEAUTIFUL LYRICS. Finally a song that makes the word b!tch look as beautiful as a single red rose with dew dripping off of it in the light of the morning sunrise.

It's been a long time coming for this album and I am so stoked it's here! Iggy Azalea, unlike many white girl rappers out there, spits a fire close to her heart and without all the fake or ratchet accoutrements. Her vocal style reminds me of a young Eve from the Ruff Ryders or a classier version of Trina while appearance wise, she echoes shades of Lady Gaga with a touch of Nicki Minaj + a bit of class. Who would've thought she was from Australia?! Class is the key word - Azalea is not a "basic b****" by any stretch of the phrase. She holds it down and keeps it real all throughout - every song is gold. This album has everything you need to keep the party bumpin' or even just the bass bumpin' while rolling down the street. Highly recommended! She's a new face with a bright future ahead of her. Not only that but I feel like there's hope for hip-hop by Miss Azalea stoking the fires and it just keeps getting better.

Same old manufactured type of rap music. It's a bit amusing when she claims she made it on her own and a bunch of other zaggin featured on the tracks.
