When I had my first car I had one of these for it and I loved it!

I think overall, this would make it more difficult for someone to steal a car, but keep it mind that it will not prevent it 100%....
Tony C. Ho
The club brake lock is ok but not as easy to put on as the club for your steering wheel.

Unfortunately for me, buying this club was due to the event of my car recently being stolen; a lesson learned the hard way. With this baby, I can rest easy a bit more now knowing that the only way a crook can steal my car again is to saw off my brake pedal and tow it - a task that most petty car thieves do not wish to undertake.

Anyways, the club works as advertised. It locks up against your brake (or clutch) pedal and stays that way until you unlock it with the included key(s). All you do is hook it up against the pedal, then hold it in place while pulling the black handle towards you - it will push the red end up against the firewall behind the pedal and keep it there.

Get this if you don't mind the extra hassle of having another club. In my opinion it is worth it because it makes it that much harder for thieves. But don't stop there, it's all about the layers! Kill switches, a paging alarm, a backup battery and siren on top of this and a steering wheel club will make your car a VERY difficult target. And keep those valuables out of sight!

Awesome product. Put on ur clutch. Older cars can still be driven without the floor brake via the emergency brake. This is from an ex car thief. A+ I suggest using this on combo with the 4 hook wheel club. I always avoided these cars and most thiefs will. Great investment.

i brought this about a month ago. it was nicely built.
but unfortunately, it didn't work.
my car, a honda accord ex 1996, got stolen.
when the police recovered the car, the club was no where to be seen.
someone said that they might have stripped the locking part off of the club.

i guess what they say is true for the older cars, they are easy to get into and if they want your car, they will get it, club or no club.

hope this helps.

One advantage of brake pedal lock over steering lock is the car is simply unmovable! This little brake lock does its work very fine (Its Club!). Its easy to use- just pull the latch and brake pedal is unmovable.

Two issues:
1. Its bit difficult to insert the lock. You need to really practise it to find out perfect position to install. Also for most of vehicle, you need to open door wide to install this.
2. It would been good to have a steering cover that gives visual warning that this car has the brake pedal lock installed! This little buddy doesn't catch the eye immediately so the thieves may break the window or door, just to find that the car is simply unmovable. But then you save car but losing the glass window!

Being realistic, you should know that a Club isn't going to fully protect your vehicle from being stolen. But the Club can be an annoyance and slow down the thief if you have a club.

I have this item, the brake club, and it works well. It is not a very visible deterrent. If someone is standing 5 feet away from the car, they probably won't notice your brake club. But this club is harder for a thief to remove than a steering wheel club. The only thing is, the steering wheel club can easily be seen by someone who's standing 10 or 20 feet away from your car.

Also, if you use the brake club, you should know that it is a little bit annoying when you're climbing into the driver's seat since you won't have much leg room while the club is on your brakes. And the lock can be just a little bit stubborn sometimes when you're using your key to unlock it: you have to apply a bit of force to unlock it sometimes. Still, it locks easily, only takes a few seconds to apply to your brakes, and does a pretty good job overall.

I would definitely recommend this item to a friend.

This device doesn't seem very durable but is a better item to purchase compared to the club that latches onto your steering wheel since most criminals just saw through it. I use both though. The downside is that this device does not fit around the brake pedal arm (not wide enough) so the clutch was the only alternative which is OK but not ideal. I found it very easy to remove and install but you do have to work with it to move it into a good position and not the best visible deterrent. Overall, if deciding between this and the Club steering wheel lock, this is a better device. Comes with 3 keys compared to just 2 for the club steering wheel lock. A kill switch mounted in the trunk, fuel shut off, or other devices would round out and compliment the Club Brake Lock. Fair price and often difficult to find at auto parts stores.

Bought this garbage after reading the simplicity of it and at first it made sense you know..... Put this on your brake or clutch and your safe how would they get it off without the key right..... oh wait how about they just freaking use a little muscle and bend your pedal all to hell until it wiggles free and then they start car right up and bam they just stole that car... Stupid products like this and apparently even bigger idiots like me for buying such a product expecting it to work really irritates the hell out of me... Parked at a convient location in a huge parking lot at the mall my car was stolen with this ineffective trash claimed to be a anti-theft device.

Sincerely S C R E W you from an unhappy customer.....

Amazon I apolgize for my inappropriate language this really set me back and caused a lot of headache.
